The forensic testing I do focuses on the intersection of mental health, the clinical practice of psychology, and the law. In assessing litigants, it is important to use accurate and well-established testing data that is most relevant to the case. As a clinical psychologist specializing in forensic psychology, I work with individuals who may present with a variety of mental illnesses and mental health issues within the context of the criminal or civil arenas of the law. I carefully review the needs of each case to determine the most current and valid testing to be utilized. Civil matters usually involve civil litigation in which a plaintiff brings forward a suit because they believe someone else has physically or emotionally injured them. Examples may include personal injury suits, civil commitment proceedings, or workers’ compensation cases. I have worked with a wide variety of legal firms on the aforementioned types of cases.
