Our beautiful, newly remodeled office is in a building that has been part of Orinda’s rich history since 1945. We are happy to welcome you to our office and hope you enjoy your experience with us. Our new office is conveniently located in downtown Orinda, less than 5 minutes from highway 24. It is also a 5-10 minute walk from the Orinda BART Station. From Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco to Orinda Office: From HWY 24 East from the Caldecott Tunnel, take the Orinda Exit and stay to the right. At the light, make a right hand turn and get into the left hand lane. Go through the second light and we are located on the left just past the signal. We are the beige 1-story building. From Walnut Creek, Concord, Danville to Orinda Office From HWY 24 West toward the Caldecott Tunnel, take the Orinda Exit and take the second off-ramp toward Orinda. Wrap around and go under the freeway and the BART tracks. Go past two signal lights and we are located on the left just past the second signal. We are the beige 1-story building.
Therapeutic Services
Therapy: Revealing yourself to a person you do not know, no matter how impressive their credentials, takes courage and an act of faith. The focus in your session should be on your goals, feelings, thoughts, and relationships of import. Together we will explore your attempted solutions to problems, where you feel strong, where you don’t. Therapy is designed to give you specific tools, techniques, a map, so you can be self-directed. Therapy can be a transforming process as it opens up the possibility of change in every critical aspect of your life. Psychological Testing: If you have ever been curious about your personality, intelligence, memory, possible neuropsychological problems due to a brain injury or head trauma then you might be a candidate for psychological testing. Assessments can also help guide your children and their academic career. It’s also important to rule out learning disorders and ADD/ADHD because the wrong diagnosis can lead to unnecessary medications and misguided treatment.
